This hiking route takes you through the scenic area around Fuente de las Conchas. The trail is relatively short, covering a distance of 1.3 kilometers with no significant elevation gain, making it super easy for hikers of all levels.
As you start your hike, you will come across the historic Puerta de San Vicente about 0.3 kilometers into the trail. This monument is a must-see and provides a glimpse into the rich history of the area. Further along the trail, at around 0.5 kilometers, you will find a picturesque water feature known as Fuente de las Conchas.
For sustenance along the way, there are various dining options nearby. Horno Santa María and Florida Norte are about 0.27 kilometers from the start, offering a place to refuel before continuing your hike. Additionally, there are fountains like Fuente de los Tritones at 0.65 kilometers and several other restaurants dotted along the trail.
It's advisable to carry an ample water supply, especially on warmer days, and always check the weather forecast before embarking on the hike. The trail is an out-and-back route, so you will be retracing your steps to the starting point. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and the points of interest along the way, such as benches for resting and memorials like Paco de Lucía.
