This challenging out-and-back hiking route will take you to the stunning Monte Fumadiga area. The total distance of the hike is 7.072 kilometers with an elevation gain of 911 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take around 3 hours and 54 minutes to complete.
As you start your journey, you will come across the Rifugio Al Legn alpine hut, located 2.86 kilometers from the trail's beginning. This cozy accommodation offers a perfect resting spot to enjoy the surrounding views.
Further along the trail, at just 0.03 kilometers from the start, you will find the Mergugno information point, providing insights into the local area. As you continue, you will also encounter the Capanna Al Legn information point, located at the same point as the alpine hut.
For a historical touch, 2.86 kilometers into the hike, there is a wayside cross located 20.148 meters from the trail. Don't forget to stay hydrated with the drinking water point situated 0.03 kilometers from the starting point.
Additionally, at the 3.54-kilometer mark, you will reach the peak of Monte Fumadiga, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the surroundings.
