This hiking route follows the Bergweg trail, offering a pleasant and easy outdoor experience in the beautiful surroundings. The route covers a distance of 3.675 kilometers with an elevation gain of 148 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
Starting off, you will come across the parking area at the trailhead, providing easy access to the beginning of your journey. As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter various points of interest.
Approximately 1.84 kilometers into the hike, you will find a viewpoint where you can take in stunning panoramic views of the landscape. This spot is wheelchair inaccessible but offers a rewarding vantage point for a break and some photos.
Around 1.39 kilometers from the start, you will pass by the Klettergarten Hintersegg, a climbing area known as Falesia Hintersegg, offering a fun challenge for climbing enthusiasts.
Continuing on, at about 1.47 kilometers from the start, you will discover the Groaßer Stoan rune stone, a historic site with cultural significance. A bench nearby provides a perfect resting spot to appreciate the surroundings.
Towards the end of the trail, approximately 0.34 kilometers from the start, you will find "7°," an information point with interesting facts about the area. Further along, at 0.06 kilometers from the start, there is the Halbweg restaurant, located midway through the hike for a convenient pit stop.
