This challenging 10.24-kilometer circular hiking route in the Abrigo de los Aljibes - Cordel de la Pedriza area offers stunning natural beauty and several points of interest along the way. The trail starts and ends at a parking area. Along the route, you will find various water sources located at different distances from the trail, so make sure to bring enough water for the hike.
As you embark on this journey, you will come across "Rincón del Alba," a restaurant located 1.23 kilometers from the starting point, where you can enjoy a meal or a snack before or after your hike. Continuing on, you will encounter "El Gato," an artwork situated 1.27 kilometers into the hike.
One of the highlights of the route is the series of peaks that you will pass by. "Peña el Gato" is one such peak located 0.64 kilometers from the trail. As you progress, you will also come across "Pico de Cabeza Lijar," "Pico de la Miel," and "Pico de la Miel," offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.
Midway through the hike, at a distance of 2.66 kilometers from the start, you will find a cluster of water sources providing a refreshing break. Additionally, at the end of the trail, you will reach "Abrigo de los Aljibes," a cave entrance worth exploring.
