This extremely difficult hiking route will take you to the beautiful area of Colle Ameno. The total distance of the trail is 12.732 kilometers with an elevation gain of 520 meters, so be prepared for a challenging but rewarding adventure.

As you begin your hike, you will pass by a parking area at the start of the trail. About 0.23 kilometers into the hike, you'll come across another parking area where you can leave your vehicle if needed. Continuing on, at the beginning of the trail, you'll also encounter a historic city gate, adding a touch of local history to your journey.

As you make your way along the trail, you will reach a natural saddle at around 3.15 kilometers into the hike. This is a great spot to catch your breath and take in the surrounding scenery. Further along, at approximately 6.37 kilometers from the start, you'll find the peak of Colle Ameno, offering stunning panoramic views of the area.

If you're in need of a break or some sustenance, there are restaurants like "Da Bosio" and "La Locanda del Papa" along the way, where you can refuel before continuing your hike. Additionally, you'll come across a viewpoint at 6.37 kilometers from the start, providing a perfect opportunity to soak in the beauty of the landscape.

On your way back, around 3.85 kilometers from the start, you'll pass by another natural saddle known as Colle Bertone. Finally, towards the end of your hike, you'll find a drinking water facility to hydrate before concluding your journey.
