This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area near La Croix d'Aquila. The trail is 6.82 kilometers long and has an elevation gain of 575 meters, making it a difficult hike. It is estimated to take around 3 hours to complete.

As you start your hike, you will come across a parking area, perfect for leaving your vehicle before embarking on the adventure. About halfway through the trail, at 3.41 kilometers from the start, you will reach the iconic La Croix d'Aquila peak, offering stunning panoramic views of the surroundings.

Along the way, at 0.46 kilometers from the start, you will find a drinking water source to refill your bottles and stay hydrated during the challenging hike. As you continue, at 2.25 kilometers from the start, you will reach the scenic Col de la Trancoulette saddle, a perfect spot to rest and take in the beauty of the area.

Although not directly on the trail, at 2.46 kilometers from the start, you will spot La Roche Jaune peak in the distance, adding to the picturesque landscape of the hike.
