This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Mo'atza Azorit Megiddo. The trail is a super easy out-and-back route with a total distance of 0.916 kilometers and no elevation gain.
As you start your hike, you'll come across "Parking" areas both on and off the trail. Around 0.46 kilometers from the start, you'll find a parking spot that is not directly on the trail.
About 0.34 kilometers from the beginning, you'll encounter the archaeological site "Gan Leumi Tel Megiddo," a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Nearby, you'll also find the historical sites of "Sha'ar Shlomo," "The Late Canaanite Gate," and "The Early Canaanite Gates."
Along the trail, there are several viewpoints offering a unique perspective of the surroundings. You'll also find "Picnic Site" and "Restaurant" options close to the trail for a meal or snack break.
Make sure to visit the various archaeological sites such as "Aramon Yisre'eli," "The Assyrian Palace," "The Assyrian Palaces," "The Northern Orot," and "The Canaanite Palace" scattered throughout the hike.
