This extremely difficult 18.747 kilometers out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning landscape of the Vorarlberg region. The trail starts at the parking area near Alpengasthof Zeinisjoch, where you can find a restaurant to grab a bite before beginning your adventure.

As you make your way along the trail, you will pass by picturesque natural landmarks such as the Zeinissee and Vorbecken Zeinis lakes, offering beautiful spots to rest and take in the serene surroundings. Be sure to refill your water bottles at the various water sources along the trail, such as Kessisee and Valschavielsee.

The route is challenging, with a total elevation gain of 563.0 meters, so be prepared for a strenuous trek. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and proper hiking gear. Check the weather forecast before heading out, as the conditions can change quickly in the mountains.

Midway through the hike, you'll reach Alpe Verbella and Neue Heilbronner Hütte, where you can refuel and rest before continuing on your journey. Winterjöchle saddle offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the surrounding mountains, making it a perfect spot to take a break and soak in the scenery.
