This hiking route will take you to the beautiful area near Damböckhaus in Austria. The trail is an out-and-back type, starting at an elevation of 726 meters and ending at 1809 meters at Damböckhaus.
As you begin your hike, you will pass by various points of interest along the way. Just at the start, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you continue, approximately 4 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the charming alpine hut called Damböckhaus, where you can take a break and enjoy the stunning views.
Along the route, you will also come across an information point about the area, a spring named Taufbrunnen where you can replenish your water supply, a picnic site for a restful stop, and several benches for a quick break. Additionally, you will find informative signs and cave entrances such as Thiahöhle and Damböckhöhle to explore.
One historical point of interest you will pass is the Stadlmannkreuz wayside cross, and a wayside shrine dedicated to Hl. Florian. These add a cultural touch to your hiking experience.
