This hiking route will take you through a picturesque area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The trail is 8.075 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 479 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 3 hours and 4 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by the Bachwinkel parking area, which is located right at the beginning of the route. About 1.34 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a beautiful waterfall, perfect for a quick break and photo opportunity.
As you continue on, at around 1.98 kilometers in, you will find an information point with interesting facts about the area. Along the way, there are several benches strategically placed for hikers to rest and take in the surrounding nature.
Midway through the hike, at 3.0 kilometers, you will reach Geralmen, another informational point where you can learn more about the environment and history of the area. At this point, you will also find a wayside shrine, adding a cultural touch to your adventure.
Approaching the end of the trail, about 4.04 kilometers in, you will reach Jagglalm, a picturesque alpine hut where you can take a well-deserved break and enjoy a meal. As you make your way back, you can stop at Eggeralm, another alpine hut located 1.79 kilometers from the start, for more breathtaking views and refreshments.
