This hike will take you through the stunning Bocchetta del Camoscio area, known for its breathtaking views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back type, starting at an elevation of 940 meters and culminating at 2,568 meters at Bocchetta del Camoscio.
As you begin your journey, you'll come across the Rifugio Mario Merelli al Coca, an alpine hut just 2 kilometers from the starting point. This is a great spot to rest and refuel before continuing on your hike. The hut is open from May to October and offers basic amenities for hikers.
Further along the trail, you'll encounter Lago di Coca, a beautiful lake located 3 kilometers from the start. This is a perfect spot to relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. Don't forget to fill your water bottles from the drinking water point located 2 kilometers away.
