This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Sentiero Rocca Pendice, offering stunning views and various points of interest along the way. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 1.026 kilometers and an elevation gain of 148 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area, perfect for leaving your vehicle before embarking on the hike. Just a short distance away, you will find the Settore Numerate Alte, a climbing spot where you can test your skills on the rocks. Further along the trail, you will encounter other climbing sectors such as Settore Lavagne Nere, Settore Diavolo, Settore Classiche, Settore Dinamiche, and Settore Parete Est, each offering unique challenges for climbers.
For a refreshing break, there is a drinking water station located midway through the hike, allowing you to rehydrate and replenish your energy. Additionally, you will pass by Monte Pendice, a peak offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue, you will also spot various rock formations and ruins, adding a touch of history to your adventure.
At the turnaround point, you will reach Castello di Speronella, a historic castle site with informational displays about the local flora and fauna. Nearby, there is a picnic site at Area di sosta "Rocca Pendice", where you can rest and enjoy a meal before heading back.
