Welcome to Alta Via Mariota! This hiking route offers a moderate challenge with a distance of 4.2 kilometers and an elevation gain of 380 meters, taking approximately 1 hour and 55 minutes to complete.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across a parking area, conveniently located right at the beginning of the route. As you continue on, at just 100 meters into the hike, you will pass by Malga Vallazza, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding mountain views.
Around the halfway point of the hike, at 2.1 kilometers, you will find a natural water source, perfect for refilling your water bottle and taking a refreshing pause before continuing on. As you near the end of the trail, you will come across more water sources, both directly on the trail and slightly off the path.
Along the route, there are also information points providing insight into the local area and a restaurant, Malga Vallazza Agritur, where you can grab a meal or snack before or after your hike.
