Welcome to the Alta Via dei Pastori hiking route. This challenging 7.735-kilometer circular trail offers stunning views and a rewarding experience for adventurous hikers. The route has an elevation gain of 394 meters and is estimated to take around 2 hours and 46 minutes to complete.

Starting at the designated parking area, you will begin your journey through the picturesque landscape. As you make your way along the trail, you will come across various points of interest. Approximately 1.98 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Col Caviette, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

Continuing on, at around 3.1 kilometers from the start, you will encounter the beautiful Lago di Cavia, a tranquil water body perfect for a rest stop or a scenic photo opportunity. Further along the trail, at 3.52 kilometers from the start, you will find another water feature to enjoy.

Midway through the hike, at 2.84 kilometers from the start, you will reach the peak of Cima Toront, where you can take in breathtaking views of the landscape below. These points of interest add to the overall experience of the hike and provide opportunities to rest and appreciate the natural beauty of the area.
