This hiking route takes you along the picturesque Camino de la Silla del Moro in Granada. The trail is relatively short, covering a distance of 1.91 kilometers with an elevation gain of 35 meters, making it super easy and suitable for hikers of all levels.
As you begin your journey, you will come across various points of interest. At the beginning of the trail, you will find parking options at Aparcamiento "La Alhambra" P2, P3, and P4. These are convenient spots to leave your vehicle before starting the hike.
As you continue along the trail, about midway through, you will encounter the Palacio de Generalife, a stunning attraction with rich historical significance. The Jardines Bajos del Generalife and Silla del Moro are also worth exploring, located around the same area.
Towards the end of the trail, you will find several fountains and viewpoints, such as Los Albercones and Parque Periurbano, offering beautiful vistas of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to bring some drinking water as these spots are perfect for a quick rest and hydration break.
Throughout the hike, you will also find benches scattered along the trail, providing opportunities to sit and take in the serene surroundings. Additionally, there are cave entrances and ruins like Dar al-Arusa, adding a touch of mystery to your adventure.
