This hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Diedamsalpe. The trail is 17.925 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 1127.0 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will take around 6 hours and 58 minutes to complete.

As you begin your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the start of the trail, you will find a fast food spot just 5.48 kilometers from the beginning, perfect for grabbing a quick bite before setting off. You will also pass by a bench and a shelter at the very start of the trail, allowing you to take a break or enjoy the surrounding nature.

As you continue on, you will encounter a restaurant called Wälderstube about 0.01 kilometers from the start, offering a great spot to refuel and recharge for the rest of the hike. Further along the trail, at around 8.5 kilometers from the start, you will reach a viewpoint where you can pause to take in the breathtaking scenery.

Midway through the hike, approximately 1.25 kilometers from the start, you will come across a beautiful waterfall, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings. For those interested in free flying, there is a takeoff site called Diedamskopf Mittelstation Startplatz located at the 5.48-kilometer mark from the start.
