This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Coniston Waterfall. The trail is super easy, with a total distance of 1.611 kilometers and an elevation gain of 69 meters, making it suitable for hikers of all skill levels.
As you start your hike, you will pass by the Miners Bridge, an archaeological site located just 0.81 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. Further along, at 0.56 kilometers in, you will find a viewpoint where you can take in panoramic views of the area.
For those looking to grab a bite to eat or enjoy a cup of coffee, Herdwicks Cafe is located nearby but not directly on the trail. Additionally, there are several parking options available close to the trailhead, with Low House Alpine Hut situated just 0.02 kilometers off the trail.
As you make your way towards the waterfall, be sure to check out The Yewdale Inn, Sara's Indian Restaurant, and Cafe Meadowdore, all located within a short distance from the trail but not directly on it.
