This extremely difficult 13.432-kilometer circular hiking route will take you through the stunning area surrounding Mittlerhochkreuz - Monte Croce d Mezzo. The trail begins at a parking area located at the start of the route. Make sure to bring plenty of water and snacks with you before you start.

As you make your way along the trail, you will come across several points of interest. About 0.04 kilometers into the hike, you will find Jausenstation Unterstalleralm, a restaurant where you can take a break and enjoy a meal. Continuing on, at around 0.73 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter the Klapfbach Wasserfall, a beautiful waterfall worth stopping to admire.

Midway through the hike, at approximately 4.65 kilometers from the start, you will reach Höllböden - Monte Chiaro, a peak offering breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. As you continue on, around 5.8 kilometers into the hike, you will come to Pfolscharte, a saddle along the trail.

At the 6.15-kilometer mark, you will reach Mittlerhochkreuz - Monte Croce d Mezzo, another peak with stunning views. Finally, as you near the end of the trail, at about 5.77 kilometers from the start, you will pass by Pfoisee, a picturesque lake perfect for a final rest before finishing the hike.

Due to the length of the trail and the significant elevation gain of 1459 meters, this hike is suited for experienced hikers. Make sure to check the weather forecast before heading out and wear appropriate hiking gear. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and stay safe on this challenging adventure.
