You are about to embark on a challenging hiking adventure through the stunning area of Ru de Chevrère et Montjovet. This out-and-back route spans approximately 7.37 kilometers in total, with an elevation gain of 657 meters, making it a difficult trek suitable for experienced hikers.
As you begin your journey, you will pass by the tranquil Lago Muffé, located 1.34 kilometers from the start of the trail. Around the midway point of the hike, you will reach Rifugio Barbustel, situated 3.2 kilometers from the trail's outset. This alpine hut provides a great opportunity to refuel and recharge before tackling the remaining portion of the route.
Colle del Lago Bianco awaits you at 2.49 kilometers from the start, offering a breathtaking vista and a perfect spot for a photo opportunity. Along the way, you will also come across various amenities such as drinking water sources and a bar for additional refreshments.
