This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of CAI 428. The 6.164-kilometer trail offers a moderate level of difficulty with an elevation gain of 253 meters, making it a great option for hikers looking for a bit of a challenge.
As you start your journey, you will come across a water source only 0.08 kilometers from the trail. This is a perfect spot to refill your water bottles before continuing on. Along the way, you will also find Rifugio Passo Vivione, a restaurant located right on the trail where you can grab a bite to eat.
About 3.08 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter two more water sources, offering a refreshing break as you make your way towards Monte i Colli, a peak located 0.93 kilometers off the trail. While not directly on the trail, it may be worth the extra distance for the stunning views it provides.
Further along the route, at the 0.05-kilometer mark, you will reach Passo del Vivione, a saddle where you can rest and take in the surrounding scenery. Nearby, there are also several information points providing insight into the area's natural history.
As you make your way back, take advantage of the picnic site located 0.14 kilometers from the trail. This is a great spot to relax and refuel before completing your hike.
