This hiking route is located in a scenic area with various peaks and climbing spots to explore. The trail is an out-and-back type, allowing you to return the same way you came. The total distance of the hike is 4.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 181 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
Starting at Wanderparkplatz Füllhölzel, you can begin your journey. This is a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you'll come across several points of interest. At a distance of 1.37 kilometers from the start, you'll reach the peak called Anstand, a great spot for climbers to enjoy.
Continuing on, at 1.46 kilometers from the start, you'll find the peak known as Auerhahnfels, offering another climbing opportunity. Further along the trail, at 0.39 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter the Carolastein peak.
As you trek onwards, you will pass by various other peaks like Elefant, Gespaltene Zinne, and Nashorn. Be sure to check out the stunning views from these vantage points. Along the way, there are also shelters and informational points for you to rest and learn more about the area.
