Welcome to the beautiful Pölstal area! This hiking route offers a 2.616-kilometer out-and-back trail that is perfect for beginners and nature enthusiasts. The trail boasts a relatively easy difficulty level with no elevation gain, making it suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your hike, you'll come across the Kirchenwirt restaurant just 0.02 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before embarking on your journey. Along the trail, you'll also encounter several water points that are perfect for refilling your water bottle or simply taking in the serene surroundings.

About midway through the hike, at around 1.08 kilometers from the start, you'll find another water point, followed by more water points at 1.12 kilometers, 1.26 kilometers, and 1.27 kilometers. These spots provide a perfect opportunity to rest and rejuvenate while enjoying the peaceful ambiance of the area.

As you reach the end of the trail, at approximately 1.31 kilometers from the start, you'll encounter more water points and a shelter known as St. Johann am Tauern Ortsmitte. This is a lovely place to take a break before heading back on the same route.
