This hiking route takes you through the picturesque area of La table des géants. The trail is 6.614 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 176.0 meters, making it a moderate difficulty level hike.
You will start your journey at the Haberacker - Château d'Ochsenstein parking area. Along the way, you will come across various points of interest such as the Geissfels rock formation, which is 1.11 kilometers from the start of the trail. You can also take a break at the Abri du Geissfelswasen shelter, located 1.53 kilometers into the hike.
As you continue on, you will encounter the wayside cross at 1.53 kilometers and the viewpoint at 1.24 kilometers from the start. Be sure to check out La Spill rock formation, which is 0.32 kilometers from the trail.
One of the highlights of the hike is reaching La table des géants, a natural rock formation located 3.31 kilometers into the trail. This landmark offers stunning views and is a great spot to take a break before heading back.
Throughout the hike, you will also find benches and information points along the way to rest and learn more about the area.
