This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with stunning viewpoints and cultural landmarks. The trail is circular, starting and ending at the peak of Abedishte. The total distance of the route is 5.442 kilometers with an elevation gain of 430 meters, making it a moderate difficulty hike.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Monastery of St. Panteleimon, located just 65 meters from the trail. This historical attraction offers a glimpse into the local culture and history. Continuing on, you will pass by Macedonian Village, a quaint spot perfect for a brief rest and to take in the surroundings.

Midway through the hike, you will find St. Panteleimon Cell, a restaurant where you can refuel and enjoy some local cuisine. Nearby, there is a parking area for those traveling by car, with no fees required.

As you trek further along the trail, you will encounter several viewpoints offering breathtaking panoramas of the surrounding landscape. Make sure to pause and appreciate the beauty around you, especially at the scenic overlook known as Vidikovec, located 2.61 kilometers from the start.

A highlight of the hike is reaching the peak of Abedishte, a natural landmark that provides a sense of accomplishment and a fantastic vantage point to admire the scenery. From here, you can enjoy the panoramic views before heading back towards the starting point.
