The Stangenholzweg trail offers a beautiful outdoor experience in the area. With a total distance of 3.903 kilometers and an elevation gain of 67 meters, this hike is categorized as easy and is suitable for hikers of all levels.

Starting off, you'll find convenient parking facilities just 0.13 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the route, you'll come across a refreshing water source located 0.28 kilometers in. A viewpoint awaits you at the 0.55-kilometer mark, offering stunning vistas of the surrounding landscape.

Should you need a break or wish to grab a bite to eat, the Naturfreundehaus Krummbachtal restaurant is conveniently located just 0.01 kilometers from the trail. Additionally, there are several information points along the way to provide you with insights into the area.

As you continue your journey, you'll pass by another water source at the 0.47-kilometer mark. Be sure to check out the Gerlinger Kopf peak located 0.61 kilometers from the start for a panoramic view of the surroundings. A bench is situated at 1.42 kilometers, offering a spot to rest and take in the peaceful surroundings.

Before heading back, don't miss the viewpoint at 0.57 kilometers, providing a final breathtaking panorama before concluding your hike.
