This challenging hiking route will take you to the stunning peaks of Ganekogorta and Gazteluzar/Arranotxe, with a total distance of 8.763 kilometers and an elevation gain of 472 meters. The starting point of the hike is at the parking area located at the trailhead. As you begin your journey, you will pass by a drinking water station just 0.02 kilometers from the start, where you can refill your water bottle before the ascent.

Approximately 0.63 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the Otsoa begiratokia viewpoint, offering panoramic views of the surrounding landscapes. Further along the trail at around 2.08 kilometers, you will arrive at the peak of Gazteluzar/Arranotxe, providing a great vantage point to admire the scenery below.

Continuing on, at the 4.12-kilometer mark, you will pass by the Mesa de orientación viewpoint, offering another perspective of the area. As you make your way towards the endpoint, you will encounter the peaks of Arrabatxu/Belaurko, located at 4.38 kilometers into the hike.

Throughout the journey, you may come across historical sites such as the battlefields of the 2º Asentamiento para ametralladora de Kamaraka and 1º Asentamiento para ametralladora de Aretxiger, adding an interesting cultural element to the hike.

While the difficulty level of this trail is considered difficult due to its length and elevation gain, the breathtaking views and unique POIs along the way make it a rewarding experience for hikers.
