This hiking route, known as Variante 609, is an extremely difficult trail spanning a distance of 10.88 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1205 meters. It is located in a picturesque area with stunning natural beauty.

As you embark on this challenging journey, you will encounter several points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area, providing easy access to the starting point. As you trek further, approximately 1.58 kilometers from the start, you will come across Palon de le Valate, an informative site offering insights into the surrounding landscape.

Continuing onwards, you will reach a peak called Castello di Costabella, which is about 3.77 kilometers from the starting point, offering panoramic views of the area. Additionally, at a distance of 3.73 kilometers, there is a photographic exhibition called "Mostra fotografica Guerra alla Guerra", showcasing the region's history.

Midway through the hike, at around 5.09 kilometers from the start, you will encounter a spring where you can replenish your water supply. Further ahead, at approximately 5.44 kilometers, there is a beautiful alpine hut named Chalet Cima Uomo, providing a cozy shelter for hikers.

As you approach the latter part of the trail, you will come across several informative sites such as Palon del Bianco, Sforcela del Ciadin, and Cresta de Costabella, each offering unique insights into the local heritage and geography.

Moreover, situated at a distance of 2.81 kilometers from the starting point, there is a memorial site called Sito Ritrovamento Alpino, honoring the area's historical significance.
