This hiking route takes you through the beautiful landscape surrounding Rifugio Almici. The trail is 6.822 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 670 meters, making it a difficult but rewarding hike. It is an out-and-back route, so you will retrace your steps on the way back.

As you start your hike, you will come across a picnic site just 0.05 kilometers from the trailhead. This is a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal before embarking on your journey. Along the way, you will pass by several points of interest, including parking areas, alpine huts such as Rifugio Croce Di Marone and Rifugio Malpensata, and natural water sources for refilling your bottle.

At around 2.75 kilometers into the hike, you will encounter a natural water source, followed by more points of interest like Pozza dell'Angelo and Croce di Marone. These landmarks offer opportunities to rest, take in the scenery, and learn more about the area.

Around the midway point (3.41 kilometers), you will reach Rifugio Almici, where you can take a break, refuel, and maybe even spend the night if you're up for an overnight adventure. The rifugio offers accommodation and sustenance for weary hikers.
