Welcome to the hiking route to Pozze della barite! This circular trail spans a distance of approximately 6.5 kilometers with an elevation gain of 699 meters, making it a challenging hike that will take around 3 hours and 15 minutes to complete.

The trail starts at a parking area near the trailhead and immediately immerses you in the natural beauty of the area. As you trek along, you will come across Pozza delle tope, a serene water feature located about 2.9 kilometers from the start of the trail. This can be a great spot to take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Further along the path, at around 3 kilometers in, you will encounter Pozze della barite, another set of beautiful pools where you can relax and take in the scenery. Nearby, you will also find Baita di Monte Campo, a shelter where you can rest and refuel before continuing your journey.

As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to stop by the ruins of an historic site located about 2.8 kilometers from the trailhead. This can be a fascinating glimpse into the past and a great photo opportunity.

Throughout the hike, you will also find several drinking water sources along the way to stay hydrated.
