This extremely difficult out-and-back hiking route will take you through the stunning area of Schrumm See - Kanal/Klapfberg - Ulten - Ultimo, covering a distance of 12.174 kilometers with an elevation gain of 1007 meters.

Starting at the trailhead, you will come across the Malga Bordolona di Sotto shelter and restaurant at the beginning of the hike, where you can rest and fuel up for the journey ahead. As you proceed, you will pass by the Klapfberg Alm restaurant approximately 4 kilometers into the hike, offering another opportunity to take a break and enjoy a meal.

Further along the trail, around the 6-kilometer mark, you will reach a natural water source, providing a refreshing spot to replenish your supplies. Continuing on, at the 7-kilometer mark, you will find a drinking water station for another chance to hydrate.

Around the midpoint of the hike, at approximately 8 kilometers, you will reach the Klapfbergjoch - Passo di Val Clapa saddle, offering panoramic views of the surrounding area.

As you make your way back, you will pass by the historic ruins of Malga Scalet di Sopra and Malga Scalet di Sotto at 10 and 11 kilometers respectively, adding a touch of history to your adventure.
