This extremely difficult hiking route takes you through the stunning area surrounding Tré le Mollard. The 13.089-kilometer trail offers a challenging elevation gain of 1014 meters.
Starting at Parking du Nant Fourchu, make sure to prepare with enough water and snacks for the long journey ahead. As you hike, you'll come across various points of interest along the trail. At 0.34 kilometers from the start, you'll find "Chemin du Gros Fayard," perfect for a brief stop to take in the surroundings.
As you continue on, at 4.31 kilometers from the start, you'll reach "Refuge d'Orgeval," a great spot to rest and refuel. Adjacent to the refuge is a drinking water point that can help keep you hydrated for the remainder of the trek.
For history enthusiasts, a wayside cross can be found at the same location as the drinking water point. This spot provides a glimpse into the area's past at 4.31 kilometers from the starting point.
Further along the trail, at 5.05 kilometers, "Banc Ferrand" peak offers a panoramic view of the area, a perfect place to take a break and admire the scenery.
Continuing onwards, at 6.54 kilometers from the start, you'll reach "Tré le Mollard" peak, the final destination of the hike. This peak rewards hikers with breathtaking views, making the challenging trek well worth the effort.
