This hike is set in a picturesque area with stunning views and challenging terrain. The route is an out-and-back trail that leads to the Refuge d'Orgeval.

Starting at the Parking du Nant Fourchu, you will begin your ascent towards the Refuge d'Orgeval. Along the way, you will pass by the Chemin du Gros Fayard information point, providing insights into the surroundings. As you continue, you will come across the Passerelle Nant Fourchu, offering a picturesque spot for photos.

Midway through the hike, you will find the Refuge d'Orgeval, where you can take a break and enjoy some refreshments at the bar. If you wish to stay longer, there is accommodation available at the alpine hut.

On your way back, you can replenish your water supply at the drinking water points located near the refuge. Make sure to stay hydrated throughout the hike, as it covers approximately 8.58 kilometers and includes an elevation gain of 578 meters, making it a difficult trail.
