This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area of Strada dei Granatieri. The trail is 1.039 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 34 meters, making it a super easy hike suitable for all skill levels.

As you start your journey, you will come across Piazzale dei Granatieri, a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. About 0.04 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by Rifugio al Granatiere, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings. Further along the trail, at around 0.47 kilometers, you will find Monte Cengio, a peak that offers stunning views (not directly on the trail).

Midway through the hike, at 0.52 kilometers, you will reach Piazzale Pennella, an information point, and a viewpoint where you can learn more about the area and take in the scenic beauty. Nearby, at the same distance, you will also find the Granatieri di Sardegna memorial, a historic site worth exploring.

As you make your way back, be sure to stop by La Granatiera, an information point where you can gather more insights about the surroundings. Additionally, you can visit Galleria comando, located at 0.52 kilometers, to discover more about the area.
