This hiking route is located in a beautiful area with stunning natural landscapes. The trail is a circular route with a total distance of 14.682 kilometers and an elevation gain of 789 meters, making it an extremely difficult hike that will challenge even experienced hikers.
As you start your journey, you will come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you will find a parking area for your convenience. As you make your way midway through the hike, you will encounter the Chalets Du Fay, an alpine hut that is open from mid-June to late September, providing a cozy place to rest. Further along the trail, you will reach the Refuge des Mouterres, another alpine hut with amenities such as a website and phone number for reservations.
One of the highlights of the hike is the Lac des Mouterres, a beautiful lake located 7.18 kilometers from the start of the trail. This serene spot offers a perfect setting to take a break and enjoy the surrounding nature.
Throughout the hike, you will also come across various points of interest such as Loutre De Quoa, Sur Beche, Besse Sous le Cimetière, and Besse-Beyer where you can learn more about the area's history and landmarks.
