This extremely difficult circular hiking route will take you through the stunning mountainous area surrounding Lac des Mouterres. With a total distance of 14.682 kilometers and an elevation gain of 789 meters, this hike is not for the faint of heart.
Starting at the trailhead, you will first come across Besse Sous le Cimetière, a informative spot located just 0.15 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. As you continue your journey, you will pass by Besse-Beyer and Le Sarret, where you can find a restaurant to refuel.
Midway through the hike, at around 6.85 kilometers, you will reach Refuge des Mouterres, an alpine hut offering shelter and rest for weary hikers.
