This hiking route will take you to the stunning area of Punta Culaghia, offering breathtaking views and a rewarding experience. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 4.847 kilometers and an elevation gain of 593 meters, making it a difficult hike suitable for experienced hikers.

You will start your journey at the trailhead where you can find parking facilities right at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way, you will come across various points of interest along the route. At just 0.05 kilometers from the start, you will find the Hôtel Restaurant le Chalet, offering a perfect stop for some sustenance. Further along at 0.07 kilometers, you will encounter the Snack l'Altore, a great spot for a quick snack.

Midway through your hike at 1.59 kilometers, you will reach the Bocca di Stagnu, a natural saddle offering beautiful views of the surroundings. At 2.12 kilometers, you will reach the Bocca Culaghia saddle, followed by the Punta Culaghia peak at 2.42 kilometers, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the area.

Along the way, you will also find the Refuge d'Asco-Stagnu at 0.13 kilometers, providing accommodations for hikers. Additionally, the Bivouac Haut-Asco campsite at 0.18 kilometers offers a place to rest for the night.
