This extremely difficult 16.888-kilometer out-and-back hike will take you to the stunning Pleisspitze peak.

Starting at the parking area, the trail leads you through picturesque landscapes, challenging terrain, and breathtaking views. Along the way, you will pass by the Neue Krone restaurant at 1.56 kilometers from the start, where you can grab a meal or a drink to refuel.

As you continue onward, you'll encounter benches at 0.28 and 0.57 kilometers from the start, perfect for taking a rest and soaking in the surroundings. At 2.32 kilometers from the start, you'll also find an information point to learn more about the area.

The peak of Pleisspitze, located 8.44 kilometers from the start, offers a rewarding panoramic view that will make the strenuous hike worth it.

It's important to note that there is another restaurant, Gasthaus Post, at 1.38 kilometers from the start, although it's slightly off the trail.

Due to the length of the hike and the 1146 meters of elevation gain, this route is best suited for experienced hikers. Make sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before embarking on this challenging adventure.
