Welcome to Chemin de la Source hiking route! This easy out-and-back trail spans 1.661 kilometers with an elevation gain of 103 meters, making it perfect for hikers of all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you'll come across various points of interest along the way. At the beginning of the trail, you'll find P1 parking area, followed by P2 parking which is conveniently located on the trail. Further along, about 0.68 kilometers into the hike, you'll reach Panorama viewpoint, Côté Terrasse restaurant, and Le Mesclun restaurant.
For history buffs, make sure to stop by the ruins at 0.83 kilometers into the hike, as well as the viewpoint at the same distance. You'll also encounter a bench at the halfway point, offering a nice spot to rest and take in the surroundings. Additionally, Fontaine des Mascarons is situated 0.14 kilometers from the trail, providing a refreshing water source for hikers.
Don't miss out on La Grand Font information point and Salon de Thé et Gourmandises cafe, both located about 0.68 kilometers into the hike. As you continue, you'll also encounter a wayside cross and drinking water fountain nearby.
To add to the charm of the trail, attractions such as Portal Reynier dit Portail de la Bise, Notre-Dame-des-Graces, Portal Neuf, and Tour de l'Horloge await you at various points along the route.
