This hiking route takes you through a challenging and extremely difficult 13.5-kilometer trail with an elevation gain of 748 meters. The duration of the hike is approximately 5 hours.
Starting at the parking lot at the beginning of the trail, you will venture into the beautiful natural surroundings. Along the way, you will come across several points of interest. Approximately 6.3 kilometers into the hike, you will find a water source where you can replenish your supplies.
As you continue on the trail, at around 1.85 kilometers, you will reach the Juraweg information point, offering insights into the local area. Further along, at 1.9 kilometers, there is a bench where you can take a break and admire the scenery.
Around 2.65 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Hinter Brandberg, where you can find more information about the area. Nearby, there is also the Hinterbrand restaurant at 2.62 kilometers, which might be a good spot to rest and refuel, although do note that it may be closed depending on the time of your hike.
At 2.84 kilometers, you will come across Brandbergegg information point, providing additional details about the surroundings. As you approach the midway point of the hike, at 3.52 kilometers, another information point awaits you.
Throughout the trail, you will encounter benches at various locations, providing opportunities to rest and enjoy the views. There are also picnic sites and a drinking water source along the way.
As you near the end of the hike, at 2.46 kilometers, there is a peak that offers panoramic views of the area. Finally, you will make your way back to the starting point, completing the circular route.
