This hiking route takes you through the stunning area of Hörnle, offering a challenging but rewarding adventure. The total distance of the hike is approximately 10.8 kilometers, with an elevation gain of 952 meters, making it a difficult trail that will test your endurance.

You will start your journey at the parking area, which is conveniently located at the beginning of the trail. As you make your way along the path, you will come across Millrütte, a restaurant where you can take a break and refuel before continuing your hike. Around 0.12 kilometers from the start, Götzner Naturfreunde Haus, an alpine hut, offers a picturesque spot to rest and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Further along the trail, at around 3.08 kilometers from the start, you will reach Treietpass, a saddle that provides breathtaking views of the area. Hohe Kugel, a peak, can be found approximately 2.08 kilometers from the start, offering a challenging but fulfilling ascent.

As you push forward, you will encounter Hörnle peak at 5.4 kilometers from the start, followed by Vorderhörnle peak at 4.31 kilometers from the start, offering panoramic views that make the effort worthwhile.

Throughout the hike, you will find informational points, wayside crosses, and waterfalls that add to the beauty and charm of the trail. Make sure to stay hydrated and bring enough water for the journey, as well as checking the weather forecast before setting out.

After reaching the turnaround point at Hörnle, you will retrace your steps back to the starting point, taking in the incredible scenery once more. This out-and-back route is a true test of your hiking abilities and will leave you with a sense of accomplishment upon completion.
