Welcome to the Sonniger Hermann hiking route!

Located in a beautiful area, this moderate 5.8 km circular trail offers hikers a scenic adventure with an elevation gain of 253 meters. Before embarking, make sure to pack plenty of water and check the weather forecast.

As you begin your journey, you will come across the Oberschönauer Ski- und Wanderhütte, a cozy restaurant just 0.01 km from the start of the trail. This is a great spot to fuel up before your hike or to relax and grab a meal afterwards.

Midway through the hike at 2.46 km, you will find the Hütte am Hermannsberg shelter, perfect for a pit stop and rest. Nearby, at the same location, there is also an information point and a viewpoint with stunning views.

At 2.87 km into the hike, you will encounter the Sonniger Hermann peak. Though not directly on the trail, it's worth the extra distance for the breathtaking views it offers. Nearby are other peaks like Oberer Hermannsbergstein and Großer Hermannsberg.
