The hiking route to Schwarzhorn is an extremely difficult 13.516 km out-and-back trail with an elevation gain of 1338 meters. The trail starts at a parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on your journey.

As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across various points of interest. At just 0.04 km from the start, there is a bench where you can take a break and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Further along, at 0.09 km, you'll find a drinking water station to refill your water bottle.

Around 3.22 km into the hike, you'll reach an information point which may provide valuable insights about the area. A bit further, at 6.76 km, you'll encounter the peak known as Schwarzhorn, offering stunning panoramic views.

As you continue on, at 5.74 km, you'll reach the Augstbordpass saddle, which marks a significant point on the trail.
