Welcome to the hiking route near Witton Turnover Bridge in Birmingham. This easy out-and-back trail covers a distance of 2.113 kilometers with no elevation gain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels.
As you start your adventure, you'll come across Aston Reservoir, located just 171 meters from the trail. This peaceful water feature is a great spot to admire the surrounding nature. Further along the trail, about 1 kilometer in, you'll pass by a couple of parking areas for your convenience.
Around the midway point of the hike, at 1.06 kilometers, you'll encounter another water feature before reaching a parking area and a fast food spot called Full House at 0.1 kilometers from the trail. This is a good place to take a break and refuel before heading back.
As you make your way back towards the starting point, be sure to check out the D.C. Michael Swindells memorial and the monument Gravelly Hill Interchange for some historic and cultural insights.
