This hiking route takes you through a picturesque area with stunning views and easy terrain, making it suitable for hikers of all levels. The trail covers a distance of approximately 1.59 kilometers with an elevation gain of 174 meters, making it a relatively easy hike that can be completed in around 48 minutes.

As you start your journey, you will come across the historic Burg Altpernstein castle, located just 0.13 kilometers from the trail. This is a great spot to explore and learn about the area's rich history. Along the way, you will also find several benches like Pepi Bankerl and wayside shrines where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

At around 0.1 kilometers into the hike, you will pass by a climbing area, offering adventurous hikers the opportunity to test their skills. Further along the trail, approximately 0.8 kilometers from the start, you will reach the Paragleiter Startplatz (Paragliding Launch Site), where you can watch paragliders take off and soar through the sky.

It is advisable to bring plenty of water, as there are limited facilities along the trail. Additionally, check the weather forecast before setting out to ensure a safe and enjoyable hike. This out-and-back route offers a peaceful and scenic experience, perfect for a leisurely day outdoors.
