Welcome to the hiking route to Bärentros!

This hike covers a distance of 5.67 kilometers with an elevation gain of 530 meters, making it a difficult trek that will take approximately 2 hours and 38 minutes to complete.

The trail starts in a scenic area with convenient parking facilities available at the beginning of the route. As you make your way along the trail, you'll come across the LMS Rüti Morschach information center, located 0.2 kilometers from the start, providing insights into the local area.

Further along the route, at around 2.84 kilometers from the start, you'll find a viewpoint offering stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Nearby, there is a bench and a wayside cross where you can take a moment to rest and appreciate the surroundings.

For those in need of refreshment, a drinking water station is conveniently located 2.56 kilometers into the hike. Additionally, there are informational points along the trail providing interesting facts about the Nägelisgärtli (Hänibüel) area and other landmarks.

At the 0.48 kilometer mark, there is a restaurant, Fyrabigbeizli Nägelisgärtli, where you can grab a bite to eat before heading back on the out-and-back trail.

It is recommended to bring an ample supply of water, especially on warm days, and to check the weather forecast before setting off on this challenging hike. Ensure you have proper hiking gear and be prepared for varying terrain.
