This extremely difficult 17.7-kilometer out-and-back hiking route will take you through the beautiful area of Vicinale del Rondone. The trail starts at the parking area and at the beginning, you'll come across Fontana Loc. 2 Ponti where you can refill your water bottles. As you continue on the trail, you'll pass by ruins such as Monte Cappelbuso and various other historic sites. About 7 kilometers into the hike, you'll find yourself at the Laghetti del Dardagna, a stunning natural water feature where you can take a break and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
The trail also offers several picnic sites and BBQ spots along the way, making it a great place to stop and have a meal while taking in the views. As you make your way back, you'll pass by Monte Luzzo and Selletta del Cappelbuso, offering panoramic views of the area. About 7.3 kilometers into the hike, you'll encounter a beautiful waterfall, adding to the natural beauty of the surroundings.
