This hiking route takes you through a historical area with archaeological sites and scenic viewpoints. The trail is 5.192 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 139 meters, making it of moderate difficulty.
Starting at the trailhead, you will pass by an ancient synagogue with a mosaic floor at the beginning of the hike. As you continue, you will come across the "Ma'arach HaRchovot" archaeological site, located 0.19 kilometers from the start.
About 1.2 kilometers into the hike, you will reach the "Kever Rabbi Yehuda Nasi" monument and a picnic site for a potential rest stop and enjoy the surroundings. Nearby, there is also a drinking water source for hikers to refill their water bottles.
On the way, there is a viewpoint named "Mitzpe Reish Lakish" which offers stunning views of the surrounding landscape. This is a great spot to take a break and capture some photos.
The endpoint of this out-and-back trail is the "Mitzpe Reish Lakish" viewpoint, located 2.6 kilometers from the start. From here, you can enjoy panoramic views before making your way back along the same path.
