This challenging 8.669-kilometer circular hiking route will lead you through the stunning Kerek-hegy area. The trail starts at a convenient parking area, where you can leave your vehicle before embarking on this adventure.

As you make your way along the path, you will come across various points of interest. Just 0.03 kilometers from the start, you'll find an information point providing valuable insights about the area. Further along, at 0.37 kilometers in, you'll encounter the "Régi tűzoltókocsi" attraction and a picnic site where you can take a break and enjoy the surroundings.

At around 0.84 kilometers into the hike, you'll spot the Parlag-kút spring, offering a refreshing stop along the way. Continuing on, at 3.99 kilometers, you'll reach another spring called Kereti-kertalja, perfect for rehydrating before tackling the rest of the trail.

Midway through the hike, at 4.23 kilometers, you'll reach the Kerek-hegy peak, providing magnificent panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. The Bálint-hegy peak, located at 0.5 kilometers from the trail, offers another opportunity to admire the natural beauty of the area.

Throughout the hike, you'll also encounter informative signposts, historic sites like the wayside cross, and drinking water stations to refill your bottles.

With an elevation gain of 276 meters, this difficult hike is best suited for experienced hikers. Be sure to bring plenty of water, wear sturdy hiking shoes, and check the weather forecast before setting out.
