This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Schönangeralm. The trail is 7.076 kilometers long with an elevation gain of 409 meters, making it a difficult hike that will take approximately 2 hours and 39 minutes to complete.

Starting at the Schönangeralm parking area, you will pass by the Schönangeralm restaurant just 0.02 kilometers from the beginning of the trail. This is a great spot to grab a bite to eat before beginning your hike. As you continue on, at around 1.78 kilometers into the hike, you will come across a refreshing spring where you can replenish your water supply.

Around the midway point of the hike, at 3.54 kilometers from the starting point, you will reach the Wasserfall viewpoint. Here, you can take in breathtaking views of the waterfall and enjoy a moment of tranquility in nature.

Further along the trail, at 3.5 kilometers from the start, you will find the Der Teufel von Gressenstein information site and the Glockhausstein rock formation. These are interesting points of interest to explore and learn more about the natural features of the area.

As this is a difficult hike, it is important to come prepared with plenty of water, proper hiking gear, and to check the weather forecast before setting out. Make sure to take breaks when needed and listen to your body as you tackle this challenging but rewarding trail.
