Starting at Schönangeralm, you will first come across a parking area where you can leave your vehicle before beginning your adventure. Just a short distance away is the Schönangeralm restaurant, where you can grab a meal or a snack before hitting the trail. This marks the beginning of the hike.

As you make your way along the trail, you will encounter the Wasserfall viewpoint approximately 3.54 kilometers into the hike. Here, you can take in breathtaking views of the waterfall and surrounding area, making it a great spot to rest and refuel.

Around the midway point of the hike, you will find Der Teufel von Gressenstein, an interesting information point that provides insights into the local area. Nearby, you can also explore the Glockhausstein rock formation, adding a touch of adventure to your journey.

Along the trail, you will also come across a refreshing spring at a distance of 1.78 kilometers from the start. Make sure to fill up your water bottle here to stay hydrated throughout the rest of the hike.

As you continue on the trail, you will eventually reach the endpoint at Wasserfall, where you can enjoy the natural beauty of the waterfall before heading back the way you came.
