This hiking route takes you through the beautiful area surrounding Wanderpfad auf das Prostkögerl. The trail is an out-and-back type, with a total distance of 4.634 kilometers and an elevation gain of 218 meters, making it an easy hike suitable for all skill levels.
As you start your journey, you will come across a parking area located right at the beginning of the trail. Approximately 0.85 kilometers into the hike, you will reach Pfarralm, an alpine hut where you can take a break and enjoy the scenic views. Further along the trail, at 2.32 kilometers, you will find Prostalm, a restaurant where you can refuel and rest before continuing your hike.
Around the same distance from the start, at 2.32 kilometers, there is a natural water source available for hikers to fill up their water bottles. Additionally, you will find several information points along the trail to provide you with insights into the area's history and points of interest.
Towards the end of the trail, at 2.29 kilometers, there is Prostkogerl, a peak that offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding landscape. Adjacent to the peak, there is a Gipfelbank where you can sit and admire the scenery.
