Hiking : Mirador del Castellot

This challenging hiking route will take you through a beautiful area with stunning viewpoints and natural springs. Starting at the parking lot, you will pass by the Mare de Déu de Falgars shrine, and then continue on to the Roc del Joc de Pilota peak. Along the way, you will also come across the Joan Casanova viewpoint and several picnic sites and BBQ spots for a well-deserved break.

As you trek further, you will reach the Font Devesa Jussana spring and the Collada de Falgars saddle, offering refreshing stops amidst nature. The trail will lead you to the Mirador de la Pipa viewpoint and finally to the destination of Mirador del Castellot, where you can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.

This out-and-back route covers a distance of approximately 10.9 kilometers with an elevation gain of 627 meters, making it a difficult yet rewarding hike. Make sure to bring plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen, and check the weather forecast before heading out. Don't forget to visit the Casa-refugi Ardericó alpine hut for a unique accommodation experience along the trail. Enjoy the journey and take in the breathtaking sights along the way!
